I've been tagged

So Emma is taking a nap so I thought this would be a great time to update my blog since I was tagged by Megan. The goal is to share seven random facts about myself and then tag other bloggers.

So here is goes....

1. I still have a click in my jaw after getting beat up by my friend Trinity at jello wrestling, she was half my size. She was a scrapper.

2. One of my absolute favorite movies is The Santa Claus with Tim Allen(the Tool Time guy). We watch it every year.

3. I am a huge fan of 80's music. In grade school I did a jazzercise routine to Madonna's Vogue. My first cd was Paula Abdul. Straight up now tell me!!! are you going to love me forever!! OH, Oh, OH.

4. In college, my friend Hayley and I changed the Corvallis Burger King sign to say, "Now hiring Part-Time and Full-Time losers." Before we got there it said, "Now hiring Part-Time and Full-Time Closers." Ha, ha that still cracks me up.

5. I love Jesus, I love that fact that He loves me even though I am not a good person.

6. I turned down my husband many times for a date before I finally gave in. Good thing my honey is persistent. I love you.

Ok number seven...

7. My most embarrassing moment. Which also happens to be with my Hayley. In junior high, Hayley double dog dared me to hook my pants to the volleyball net clamps on the wall of the gym and .. run. Well I did it, not thinking that anything would happen, and it ripped my shorts right down the behind seam. I was so shocked I just stood there shorts-less in front of everyone in the gym for a moment then ran to the locker room. I was called rip city the next day at school. I saw my coach at a wedding a couple years ago and he was so happy he got to share the story with Robert.

First Swim

I have no pictures to document this wonderful outing, but I am pretty sure Emma enjoyed the warm kiddie pool at Juniper today. She gave me a couple of smiles. The best part is her cute little swim suit.

Elianna Bell

A cousin of mine had her baby girl yesterday. No pictures yet, but I hear she is tall and skinny. She weighed 7lbs. 1oz. and she was 22 inches long.

Staying Inside

I don't know what I blogged about before Emma Lou. It must have been important. :) We ventured out on a run this morning and almost froze. The snow on the ground didn't help. We ended up coming home. Emma had a warm bath and I had a cup of tea. My new favorite tea is Mint.

Apparently the Farmers' Almanac says we are in for a long, cold winter. What happened to fall?

Glory to God

Psalm 96: 4 - For the Lord is GREAT, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

I am just in love with being a mom, I look at Emma everyday and I am just overwhelmed with love for her. I enjoy every minute with her even when she is being a fuss bucket. :) It is only because of God's mighty power that I have this wonderful family and I get to stay at home and just love on both of them right now.

I give God a million hallelujahs.
